Chemical peels work by taking the skins pH to a much lower acidic level. This then breaks down the bonds between the outermost surface skin cells, causing them to slough away revealing new, fresh and healthy skin.
Superficial peels leave your skin with an instant healthy glow, with some mild dryness 2 – 3 days later as your dead skin begins to flake off. These peels are also fantastic for combating mild acne breakouts, open pores, fine lines and wrinkles. With our deeper Pyruvic and TCA peels, peeling can be expected for up to 7 days as the acid travels into the deep dermal layers. These peels can help with problems such as sun damage, pigmentation, pitted acne scarring and deeper lines/wrinkles.
