Step 1: Vitamin C Serum
Skinceuticals Phloretin CF
If you have normal, oily or combination skin, Phloretin CF is an advanced broad-range UVA/UVB serum complete with hydrating vitamin C. The antioxidant treatment is perfect for use all summer long and improves fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, and overall skin tone. It’s great for preventative care too. Apply liberally to the face, neck, chest, and hands, and environmental assailants won’t stand a chance.
Skinceuticals CE Ferulic
However, if you have dry, normal or sensitive skin, then you would need CE Ferulic, which is again a serum packed with pure vitamin C and other essential antioxidants. The broad-range UVA/UVB serum provides extra protection against damaging free radicals, infrared radiation, and ozone pollution. It addresses fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, and brightens a dull complexion.
Hero #2: SPF
After you have applied the Vitamin C serum on your skin in the morning, you should always follow with an SPF 50, or at very least an SPF 30, this is essential to prevent UV induced collagen breakdown and UV-induced dark spots.
