Your first MOXI appointment will begin with a consultation, during which we will map out your perfect treatment plan to achieve the results you’re looking for. Then your laser treatment will begin.

As the device is passed over your skin, you will feel a warming sensation, along with a tingling or prickling. This is not painful and causes only minor discomfort. Each part of your face or body takes just minutes to treat.

Results vary from one patient to the next. Shortly after your MOXI laser treatment, you may see small microdots on your skin called ‘mendz’ where the laser was applied. These microdots start to heal and will fall off around 3-5 days after your Mallucci visit, which is when the renewed, radiant skin beneath is revealed.

Your skin may feel a little sensitive after your treatment, so treat it gently with unscented, mild cleansers and moisturisers. You should also make sure you apply a minimum of SPF30 each morning and top up throughout the day. Expect any pigmented spots or lesions to darken; this is a sign that the laser is working. After 1 to 2 weeks the darkness will fade and skin will fully heal to reveal a more even finish.
