Your first appointment will begin with a consultation and a VISIA Skin Analysis, which measures your skin texture, pigmentation, pore size, porphyrins (bacteria), sun damage and wrinkles. Your Mallucci expert will talk with you about your skin goals, and they will then map out a treatment plan that’s bespoke to you. Once they’ve confirmed you’re a suitable candidate, your treatment will begin. After a numbing cream is applied, the HALO® Laser handpiece will glide over your skin for a minimum of 15 minutes (more for larger surface areas and intensive scarring) to deliver light energy that targets scarring, uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation and more.

Your treatment won’t hurt, but you may feel a warming or ‘rubber band snapping’ sensation. This can cause discomfort, but it disappears once your procedure is complete. Afterwards, skin might feel warm or hot to touch for up to 48 hours.

You can expect downtime to last five days. After 24 hours, mild swelling of the face will develop and over the next three days you may experience mild flaking of the skin. The HALO Hybrid treatment will trigger your body’s natural healing process while encouraging new collagen production.

Your practitioner will advise on how many treatments are needed during your consultation. For best results, we recommend 3-6 treatments depending on the skin concern. However, this is bespoke to each patient.
